Started some cutting today. 

 

The belts finally arrived 🙂 

 

The resin fit is not the best one to be honest, I'm gonna need to blend it in somehow. 

Current state. 

Getting ready for the first priming. 

Some sanding and filling were needed, but finally the first colour is on - namely: iron. 

And then it was time for olive. 

After couple of evenings filled with masking and spraying. 

Me thinks it looks ok. 

I consider my main goal achieved - the slight postshading using various Gunze SM and Hataka metallisers. 

 

Ready for decals I'd say. OK, except for the prop. 

The AJPress decals are puzzling, literally 🙁 

The white on AJPress decals is waaaaay out of register. Will fetch some replacements soon. 

Messed the undersides a bit, will need to fix it soon. 

Current state, taken using the phone - my camera went on strike, hopefully in order to support Ukraine 😉 

Added the prop today. 

Stole the crosses from Zvezda's Yak-3 set after all. They are bit oversize, but I had no better option. 

 

Finished, will take some nice (meaning hangar) pics tomorrow.
