Dryfitting the driver, seems legit. 

Elements missing on the Italeri kit wings are clearly visible when compared with the Academy tooling (top)

Before. (Both Academy & Italeri don't have the correct shape of the cowling undersides (ahead of the leading edge), so I had to replicate it somehow.)
