USN Wildcat

Airwaves details. 

Unfortunately Airwaves don't supply the front wall for the cockpit 🙁 

Hence I had to scratchbuild my own. 

First colours. 

Shading. 

And ready to close the fuselage. 

The fit of the front is not the best one, but the only problematic place after all. 

The canopy is not very transaprent, let's see how it will work with the gauzy agent. 

 

 

 

Light Gull Grey is there 

The support PE frets visible in the left upper corner (#19) 

 

Topside got its lovely colour 

The +25 years old decals work and don't scatter, yikes!
