Lochsa RiverPhotos aRE A BIT DARK AND LACKING CONTRAST....THROW A BLUE CLOTH OVER THE "SET" AND ADD SOME LIGHTS...DONT BE AFRAId TO FOOL AROUND WITH EXPOSURE AFTER THE FACT...DONT ACCEPT WHAT THE CAMERA GIVE YOU...ITS JUST THE STARTING POINT....ooooppps...somehow in the middle of looking down...it went ALL CAPS....

...what I see here happens to many photographers...if you have a very light background, the camera thinks the shot is brighter than it is and compensates by making the image darker….there are about 1000 ways to fix that...starting with most cameras having exposure compensation ...or try a photoshop type program (there are dozens)….
