Nice set indeed, but I think I'll stick to the OOB as much as I can (which is difficult indeed 😄)
I think I'll rob my Po-2 by ICM and get a gun from there (and order the Mini World one as a replacement)

This is a manufacturer's mistake.

On one hand it's quite visible on the other - I promised myself to build it "as on the boxart" (still looking for an orange backdrop 😄) and I try to refrain from pimping it up.
I guess it's not a great replica anyway, just an iconic model kit. with unusual history

I thought it was the Amodel tool, but it's not. I have the MisterCraft one, which is the same mold (I thought that was also an Amodel tool).

I added the decals today, painted the engines and all these little black details. I also added the skis yesterday. Decals come from various sets, courtesy of my stash of leftovers (Revell's MiG-21F13, Il-2 by ZTS etc.)
@Cuajete: I've seen somewhere the info (on SCM I believe) that Kapton tape is great to have the resin windows aligned with the external fuselage surface.
I think the AModel is a newer design, for example AML masks designed for AModel turned out to be useless for this dinosaur.

This is genuine Soviet stuff, made before the collapse of the union.
