Very smart design! 👍 Look at the stencils 

Unfortunately the desktop had too weak mounts for my taste 😉 

Watch out during the assembly of the upper wing, the step is too thick on the fuselage side and needs thinning, so you don't end up with a awful step at the wing roots. 

Forcing the leading edge to conform - the closer to the fuselage, the worse fit it is 

Another ugly surprise in need of thinning 

Need to get rid of these mold flash 

For a while it looks like a hammerhead 

My recommendation - put the vertical part of the tail together first. The hinge or the counterbalance on the left side makes the assembly tricky. 

Lovely mold lines on the engine 

The exhausts were better even in the crude AZ kit, will need to drill them 

For some reason these always look asymmetrical to me, whatever the kit 

Started adding the transparencies 

And well, the fit of the mid part is bad to say the least 

And the windshield mask is too wide too 

Drilled the exhausts in the meantime, they look similar to the AZ Model ones now 

A bit of more test fitting - remember there's masking tape between the windshield and the sliding part

Time for the Brun Fonce 

Kaki - now it looks bit American 😉 

Then it turned out that Mr Hyde masking putty kept moving 

So, lesson learned - for +2 colour camos use BluTack 

 

The result - multiple corrections needed as I wasn't able to replace the Mr Hyde putty exactly everywhere 

Gave up with the masking, the fresh paint is hand brushed on using German Rotbraun by Vallejo 

 

 

 

Added the guns, the plastic parts suffer a lot from the mold misalignment 

And on its own wheels!
