Who would suspect that such a little kit could be so divisive.
When I documented the build on All Scale Modeller one member decided to buy the kit…. and because it isn't as a totally accurate replica, it caused another to say it was only fit for the bin. To me modelling isn't a tribute to history, it's just a way of passing the time until they finally nail me into a box, and I'm sure no stars will fall from the sky because my little bit of plastic offends the gods. I considered adding a figures but thought it best not to because I might have to write a convincing back story for them or be accused of not taking history seriously enough.
It's a really good kit, which I'd made a few additions to. And pleeeeaaase don't tell me if the tanky thing on the back isn't something it would ever carry, not because it will upset me, because I really don't give a monkeys. It's my model, like it, that's all that matters in Gorbyland. 🙂
Incidentally, once a year I like to dedicate a build to my much missed modelling friend Paul (phoenix) and this is it.
