I have been modelling since the late 1960s – Airfix naturally, inspired by my father who modelled sailing ships. In those days in Australia, we were at the mercy of importers who mainly imported Airfix with some Frog and Revell. Then came the arrival of Tamyia and Fuji and later Matchbox. I am also a railway modeller.
I have an eclectic interest - ships, AFV’s and aircraft.

If you have found this profile via Railwaymates you will see that I have quite a collection of model trains. These are mostly from the Victorian railways (my home state) with a weakness for NSW Coal wagons. In my professional life as a heritage consultant I have been pretty much working on projects related to NSWGR including Australia's first turntable.
