Rīgas Aviācijas Tehnikas Muzejs (Skulte)
The entrance - phone number is on the office wall 😉
Some old advert, still in Lats. Love the Latvian version of the city names 😄
Many parts of the museum look like brought yesterday waiting to be taken care of.
The new location is in Skulte, in the airport backyard.
Some Floggers.
Nice green Hip
Civilian Hound, quite rare
Mi-24A
Mi-1
Ka-26
Yak-18T
Damaged Cessna, said to be left after the runway incident at the airport and moved here after the owner lost his interest in repairing it.
Čmelák
Fishbeds
Badly damaged Fulcrum
Lots of Delfins
A bizjet of some sort 🙂 The wing were cut off for transport and are still secured only using transparent wrap foil 😮
Midget
Nice set of an early Fitter and late Запорожець 🙂
This is all left from a Fencer...
.. and Flanker 🙁
There are couple of airliner cockpits too.
Mi-6 - very impressive unless you have visited Dęblin museum 🙂
Backfire is probably the most impressive part of this museum.
Love how the sun brings back the primer colours.
There's a Foxbat too.
And a Brewer.
Biggest civilian plane in the museum - Tu-134A
An-26B sporting all its history.
There's a badly maintained monument just 500m before you reach the gate,

Sort of a junkyard indeed.
The gatekeeper charged me 10€, so I assume they charge per entry (not person) ?
Looks likes it has been packed and moved yesterday,
I was free to roam around, but the personnel has to be phonecalled to open the gate,
English is not much of use here, Russian is much more preferred.
