The ailerons, stabilisers and the rudder are meant to simulate the linen surface, but it's way too prominent. So I try to soften it down, using some sanding and MrCement glue. Left: before. Right: after. 

The flash is incredible 😄 

Strating the cockpit works, the walls are empty - in the first batches there were some details, but they're gone. 

Ailerons have different sizes on both sides 😄 The blue is underside, the red is topside. 

Adding PE, not gonna use the whole fret, too detailed.

Washed interior, just before closing. 

Had to split the canopy, back is original. The front will be vacu, as the original part is hideously shaped. 

Drybryshed desktop, just before closing.

First priming (and I took care of a proper background) 

Did blue and yellow this weekend. 

Added some grey. 

And even more of grey. 

Varnished and waiting for decalling. 

 

Decals are there 

Started attaching the remaining stuff, like prop for example. As you can see the original instruction is fantastic when it comes to colours 😄 

The damn rigging has been completed, perhaps bit too low, but I'm not gonna correct it. 

I must have had some solvent leftovers on my sticky fingers 🙁 

Spent whole evening fixing it.
