Ford of the Motor Machine Gun Service

 

Some of the kit parts look to "heavy" to me, so I replaced them with plastic strip. 

Added some panel lines and hinges (stretched sprue) to the bonnet 

The bed needs some boards... 

 

 

Added new steering wheel post (so it's round, unlike the kit part) and wood grain to the bench with a scribe tool and by sliding a round file sideways along the plank. 

The kit radiator cap (left) seems way to big, so I had to make a new one. 

Added bolts to the machine gun stand. 

 

The machine gun took a lot of work to "clean-up" 

 

 

Up-armored! 

 

Base coat of paint scheme 

Added lines with a permanent marker 

Weathered with oil wash 

Just need to add the lights to be done.
