Completed builds, chronologically

The first kit I finished after returning to static modeling, Trumpeter's 1/350 scale Soviet destroyer Tashkent.  

The build was inspired by a groupbuild on the dutsh forum "Modelbrouwers" 

While visiting a flea market I found some older Revell kits for a good price. This Blackburn Skua is one of Revell's dinosaurs, originally moulded by Frog in 1964. 

The build was ok, but the decals had perrished. New ones came from Xtradecal. 

One of my uncles challenged my mom, stating she owned him a Rolls Roys, for she had lend a book to him in witch the main characters crash there RR on the steps of the city hall. 

So I build him this one, pink, as he requested . 

Back to some aircraft, with this Italeri 1/72 Su-24 Fencer. I bought this kit at a swapmeet for a tenner. The box contained two full sets of sprues, aftermarket decals and a fret of Eduard photo etsh.  

On this build I tryed my hand at scribing and riveting, the results where quite hit and mis, but hey, I like the result. 

Heller moulded this fishingvessel in 1967, and it shows. Especially the railings are bad. You just get a sprue with straight same lengths of railing, just cut and bend them yourself... 

Thy that on this stern, impossible. Build the kit while on holiday, riged it with fishingwire and displayed it on some smal rocks from the river near the campsite. 

The other kit from the flea market, the 1/72 Fullmar bij revell. Did a little more effort on this one than on the Skua. Still, just a simple build, just added some figure's from CMK. 

As on the Skua, the decals from this kit had become unusable, so the Xtradecal set came out again. 

Another one straight from the box, Italeri's F-100 F Super Sabre. First time doing a NMF, used a paintset from Model Color, very pleased with these paints.

This kit waas given to me to do a review for the belgian IPMS magazine KIT, liked it so mutch that I decided to build it, and than do a build review. 

Knocked up a smal diorama for it, to let the model come alive some more. 

My first price winning model, a wallnut, some toothpicks and stirsticks and some thread. 

All together it was good for a silver medal at the 2025 IPMS Belgium nationals. 

This build was intended to go in the same competition, however, the quality of the Heller decals decided otherwise,  

Still, a nice build, but also a disapointment.
