RWD-6 is in progress currently, though a bit stalled lately.
So, the next in my stash are numbers 8 & 14 😄 As long as I won't add the 13 😄

I believe it's a sort of torpedo sight, in this case scratchbuilt

Thx Skyhiker - it's the SM208 Super Metallic 2 - Super Duraluminum

Ahh ok a laquer paint - that makes sense. I didn't think those Quick Gens could do that job.
1 29 March, 20:27
@Skyhiker: I use the quick gens for small, detailed parts, like engine, crew and the rear gun in this case, that saves me time to wash and seal them.
For the larger surfaces it would require airbrushing, but I try to avoid spraying acrylics at all cost.

Time to reveal the secret of the title - the drawn (not painted) camo is there, sealed and ready for decals 🙂

It doesn't matter how you achieved it, it's the final result that matters...and WOW, it looks fantastic! 😮

The heretic camo took me few evenings as each colour had to painted twice to avoid translucency

@Gorbs: Question to a native speaker: does it count as a squiggle? 😉
The box description on scm says "Silver Overall, Green & Brown random squiggle"
1 April, 16:17
Wow, cool camo! Doesn't definition of squiggle require at least two sequential radii?? Otherwise it's just elbow macaroni... 😄

That looks darn impressing! Good idea with the pencils. Heresy? Don't think so. A craftsman uses all tools that get the job done.
1 1 April, 17:38
Well, not really, it was quite zen-ish feel, maybe the second layer was a bit irritating 😉

Project completed, will add more daylight pics soon, hopefully tomorrow

Thank you everyone for your motivating feedback and enjoy the final pics

Is that the gun from the kit or aftermarket? It looks like it is pretty good.
1 25 April, 15:15
The gun comes from the box, I think it's a bit oversized, but it might be just me
PS. I drilled the hole in the gunsight to make it a bit more realistic

Those markers seem to be working well, Łukasz 👍
A very well-executed heresy!
Congrats!

And before you ask, no I have not been waiting to use that word since I joined scale mates.

The speckles are drawn using AK Real colour markers (see the project details for exact shades).
Thanks for another lesson of UK British, much appreciated as always 🙂
And yes, I had to google both - speckling too 😄
