Nice work, Paul, especially on those discs. Way to go on all my puppet aircraft hanging from the ceiling 🙂.
Built that ole 314 in 1968 (with the help of my mom, thanks mom) and remember a sturdy, silver kit with lotsa rivets on her (which we liked a lot).
Will be looking for some 'vintage' boxing in the bay to pop up to build her once more, I need rivets. Airfix always did them so well where appropriate. Not anymore. Those rivets were the main reason I always preferred Airfix when ever they did a fav bird of mine. They also had great sailing ship kits, and I built them all. My go-to brand for kits for decades, along with some Tamiya. Their huge Bentley model really was a treat.
I can honestly state that Airfix has been a solid, trusted companion in my life.
