Airfix Biggin Hill OO Scale

All the parts are in green plastic and the final scheme will be early British Rail in green so I used a light black primer (Vallejo) on all parts while on the sprue.  

 

Assembled and lightly primed. Waiting for Railmatch malachite green paint to arrive now.  

Painted in Railmatch malachite green.  

 

Masking to put red lines along the loco and tender. Dry brushed the wheels with Tamiya X-11 over the matt black (Tamiya XF-1). Did the same to suspension and cylinder block to give a metallic look. The con rods and wheel flanges are painted with AF dark aluminium acrylic 'real color' marker pens which are very good.  

Red lines done. They ended up a little thicker than I had hoped and there was a touch of bleed under the mask that I had to rectify but I don't think it looks too horrible.
