Most accurate profile of Heinz Bar red 23. Fujimi instructions show red cowl, without fuselage red band,and white rudder with 200 victories, I think the fujimi profile scheme is for the Heinz Bar red 13. Investigating I found that the red 23 was the reserve plane for Heinz Bar with that got their 200th victory against a squadron of B-24s. The red 23 had no outer guns to save weight to climb more quickly and had been fitted with experimental special broad-chord wooden propeller blades perhaps from Kurt tank and similar to those of the Fw-190D-9

Fw-190D propellers ready to print. According to real airplane the Fw-109 red 23 had a experimental broad-chord wooden propeller (surely the ones that would be put later on the D models)

Album info

Made in the 90's when I was teenager and storaged in a shelf, I removed the paint and unglued all parts. Rebuild, putty, sanding, etc and painted with a coat of Vallejo grey primer, I used the primer to see defaults, gaps... the model have a great base, next preshading with RLM66.
