Just an FYI to anyone planning on following the liveries in the instructions. the hinomaru (the round red insignia) should have the white border for both 706 and 683 with only the 700 having the border-less hinomaru. in addition to this the livery designated as for the 706 is actually 700's as 706 would have had a monotone light bluish camo instead of what's indicated in the instructions

though i wasn't able to fine an image of #683 serving in the 206th but i did find pictures of it when it served in the 203rd, 204th and 205th. though the earliest image i could find of #683 was when it was a part of the 205th, it does seem that the 205th was it's first squadron. and as it was retired in '85. with it being in the 205th up till '80. was a part of the 203rd by '82 and likely retired as part of the 204th as it was a part of it by '84

Update: Kinetic did in fact send me the replacement clear & PE parts. I need to dig this kit out and get it built! LOL Hope you and your family had a great holiday season!!
